Our walks start at the Ynys swimming pool car park at 9.00am unless otherwise stated in the programme. Contact the leader for further information.

 

Walkers participate in our walks at their own risk and no liability can be accepted by either the group or its leaders in the event of loss or accident, however caused.

 

All walkers are expected to observe “The Countryside Code” and wear suitable footwear and clothing on all our day walks - leaders can refuse to take anyone not suitably dressed and equipped Walkers should also bring with them food and drink as required

 

The walk leader has control of each walk and dictates the pace. He or she has the right to alter or postpone the walk as deemed fit - e.g. Poor weather  or ground conditions.

 

If you wish to bring a dog on our walks, please ask the walk leader, as this is not always possible. Particularly during lambing time ( February - April)

 

We in the Cynon Valley Group have earned a reputation for our “social” and relaxed attitude to walking and new members are always welcomed.
